A lot of the lessons we teach need further hands on games, etc. In third grade, the students are expected to master their multiplication facts. I plan to use my Teachers Pay Teachers gift card to buy hands on games to help the students master their multiplication facts. Post it notes can also be used in a variety of ways for students to participate in lessons such as writing their thoughts and sticking it under a question on the board. Also, if students are hungry it’s hard for them to concentrate on anything else, so the snacks are also a great aid for student learning.
