Welcome to our vibrant, self-contained special education classroom, where we teach amazing TK through 5th-grade students with moderate-to-severe learning differences. In our room, we focus on building lifelong functional skills, cultivating excellent learners, and fostering a deep sense of belonging. Our mission is to ensure every student has direct access to high-quality, individualized instruction designed to meet their unique IEP goals. We strive daily to create a safe, positive environment where every learner feels like a valued member of a true community. We focus heavily on literacy, social-emotional development, self-regulation, and foundational math skills. Our ultimate goal is for students to head home each day genuinely loving school and wishing they could stay just a little longer.
