96% of the students at my school qualify for free or reduced lunch. They barely have clean clothes and are lucky to have a pair of tennis shoes. They are full of energy and desire to play sports and be active. It is difficult for many of them to join leagues or after-school sports teams because most of their parents/guardians will not take them to their practices and games. These children need to have an outlet for their stress, anxiety and built-up energy and many of them turn to fighting and aggression because that's all they know.

About my class
