The items provided will be used to set up a classroom for a first year teacher. 94% of teachers spend their own money on supplies for their classroom. I am asking for donations in order to start up my classroom and provide my students with materials to welcome them into a warm, supportive classroom. Many supplies requested allow me to provide my students with the basics needed in a classroom. Items asked are to assist me in accommodating and/or modifying materials for my students. (ie. white-out and highlighters to modify classroom tests). I would like to use the dry erase board to better assist in mini-lessons and small group instruction to help my students succeed in areas they may struggle. I am asking for fidget items to help maintain the focus of my students while lessons are being conducted. I am also asking for sticky notes, multicultural crayons, pens, etc. in order to provide my students with basic materials to produce their work with. I am requesting easel pads and markers in order to create graphic organizers that my students can reference and use to assist them during their learning. I have also included a timer on my list to help my students keep track of the time allotted and ease the anxiety of my students. I am Lastly, I am requesting a magnetic notebook page in order to model for my students how to appropriately write and take notes within their workbooks. Please allow me to give my students classroom materials to enhance their learning and make day-to-day experiences more simple. Thank you!
