An iMac computer will give my students access to the latest technology to enhance their learning. This computer will be used for several different things. Apple's high quality applications will teach students about the various eras in U.S. history and financial literacy. Since I work in a high poverty area, it is crucial to provide students the opportunity to learn about life skills, such as financial literacy, that they may not get elsewhere. Also, this computer will give students the ability to use assistive technology to better access the curriculum. Finally, students will be able to use the computer to highlight harder text and have it read aloud to them.

About my class
