The Pneumatic Die Grinder and Dual Action Sander are common tools in the metal fabrication. Students will get first hand experience in their use and application while fabricating individual and group metal projects and especially when prepping for the paint and finish of said projects. The Battery Heat gun will be used in several application; stripping of old or botched finishes, applying certain adhesives and finishes like epoxies. The Heat Gun will serve a dual purpose as it can also be utilized in electrical wiring. These tools are of high quality and will be expected to last a number of years. With these tools students available in our ag shop, the students will be able to learn how to properly operate equipment commonly used in entry level jobs in the metal fabrication industry, auto-body and paint industry, and general mechanic industry. They will be able to gain experience with the tools after learning safe operating practices while working in a safe and supervised learning environment.
