The novel study of the book Esperanza Rising will challenge my students with the new vocabulary they will encounter while reading on a daily basis. This unit will strengthen their overall vocabulary skills especially in the area of synonyms and antonyms identification. In our classroom, we encourage literacy in all forms of media and delivery methods. My students are avid online book readers. They will use the requested headphones to access and listen to EPIC! online books where they will learn many new ideas and cultures and experiences. Reading and listening will make them well rounded students. I know they will be very excited by your donations to our proejct.
