The use of an easel is an everyday activity for my students. By having this easel, my students can take the pen, and write in missing words. This allows them to learn to spell with assistance, and support from their peers. They will write the words that we have been practicing. It provides self esteem and positive reinforcement when they are given opportunities to perform in front of their classmates. An easel will provide us a shared learning experience. This easel also features a magnetic surface which is excellent for magnetic manipulatives and letters.
