These materials will help the students keep their year long writing project organized. Every year, I guide students through prompted writing that helps them to reflect on their growth and experiences in school. These materials will keep their work organized and provide high quality materials for their work. Each month, students will read and illustrate a poem about the new month, reflect and write about their experiences in school during the month prior, and look forward to the month ahead. This writing project introduces students to a variety of writing styles and skills, as well as practice in various art mediums. At the end of the year, they will have a book celebrating their accomplishments and cherishing their memories from the school year!
