Using a listening center and a book to follow along with, I will be able to give success to students struggling to read and solidify reading for those who are in various stages of reading. I will have students coming into 2nd grade with the first half of kindergarten and the last half of 1st grade in the classroom. I don't know if they will have all of the skills required to decode 2nd grade reading books. Students without the parent support at home have missed out on a lot of learning that this listening center will support during Language Arts Centers.

About my class
