There is currently only 1 color printer at our school, which is not a photo printer. Having a photo printer in the classroom will give students hands-on experience with their printing curriculum. Currently they just learn printing theory. It will also give the students a chance to display their digital art work in the halls at school and bring home to family and friends. Exposure is a really important thing when it comes to art and this could mean the difference for the student, someone seeing their talent and creating opportunities in college or career pathways.
