Students will be able to simply focus on the academic material. Biology is a tough subject for incoming high school freshmen, especially after COVID-19. I want to create a biology classroom that allows students to interact with their content and be fully immersed in their learning experience. As a teacher of low-income, high-risk students, everyone deserves to have the best education, and my students are no exception! In order to be successful students should have the opportunity to use models and kits to help them understand the more challenging parts of biology that students generally struggle with. These areas include cells and anatomy. For example, being able to use a model will help students see the parts that make up different cells and be able to physically manipulate the moving parts. Help me help them! Together we can foster the next generation of world leaders. Be the change in their lives! Thank you!
