Student's often come without the basics start the year off right! Let's help them feel good about themselves by being prepared to learn. Being prepared for school makes for a strong student! Every student should have these things; school shouldn't be about who can afford them and who can't. I have been a School Counselor for 21 years and unfortunately, I have seen this time and time again. Becoming interested in school, helps everyone, because eventually these students grow up and enter the work force, so educated students hopefully will give back as lifelong learners.
