By creating a lending learning library, where every student can read what is interesting to them, we will create an environment of cultural awareness and empowerment. Students of various ethnicities, genders, and learning levels will be given the opportunity to see themselves in literature and this will empower them to create their own stories. With your help, we can create a library that fits the needs of all the students in my class. Each and every student will be given the opportunity to read something of interest to them, at a level specifically for them, that they can relate to and enjoy.
