Working at a Title I school can make it hard to accomplish ideal goals that a teacher may have. A sensory room will be an outlet for my special needs students. This will be an area that they can go to to regroup and de-escalate when needed. We desperately need an area for those students who have severe tantrums so that we can lessen the amount that they have each day. The Sensory Mats and Busy Board Panels will be used as an inviting reward system that they know they can work hard to go to throughout the day.
