These are supplies meant to help students with their interactive reading notebooks, writing notebooks for Guided Reading, and supplies to aid in these activities, as well as the math tools, such as protractors and rulers for my fourth grade mathematicians. I would also dearly love for them to have a pencil sharpener for the whole class, and individual sharpeners to reduce the need to pop up out of seats. Soft pencil pouches are also a must have, since they can fall on the floor without much damage. This project is meant to prepare the students for the learning experiences they will embark on this year, to become lifelong readers and able mathematicians! They deserve to enjoy the wonders of reading and the adventures they can experience. The math skills they acquire will set them up to successfully navigate the everyday math we encounter.
