My kindergartners are typically 5-6 years old. Their little minds are always curious and ready to explore. My goal is to give my kindergartners hands-on learning experiences in order to help them learn and grow. I chose a sensory table with 4 tubs for one of my stations during center time. Each tub will contain themed materials for students to dig through including literacy items to go with their recording sheet. Four tubs makes it easier for me to differentiate for each group's learning needs. This will satisfy needs of exploration, movement, discoveries of objects and a specified literary skill, and writing practice. In addition, I put a credit for Teachers Pay Teachers. I am always getting resources throughout the year and so far my cart is full of center activities. Once I get them, I can print and laminate so I can use these for centers for as long as they hold up! But I'll always have the file once I purchase it so I can always remake it later if need be.
