As a teacher of young learners, I know that having different types of learning spaces can really help my students to stay focused and do their best to work independently. I have two flexible seating tables where the students can choose to stand if they choose. They love this, but standing a long time is not ideal. With classroom stools as another choice, they could pull the stool out when they need to sit for awhile. The stools could then be placed back under the tables when they feel the need to stand and get some wiggles out. It is amazing how much this helps six and seven year olds be able to keep working and get the most out of their learning opportunities. Flexible seating is SO important and such a wonderful choice to have in any classroom. Thank you for helping me be able to add these flexible seating choices to my classroom for my fabulous first graders!
