These materials will be used to create a space for my students to drop in at any time and receive mental health support in a calm and friendly environment. The materials will allow counseling groups and individuals to play games, learn coping strategies, and be assessed for support in a space that is welcoming and comfortable to be in. My students include those who participate in general education and special education counseling as well as students who may have disabilities who need direct counseling and assessment services. We will use these materials to help reach their personal and academic goals in school and build skills for life beyond the classroom.
