Our class focuses on audio technology, graphic design, and multimedia. We really just find different ways to tell stories. Songs give us the chance to put feelings into poetry and connect with others using sounds. Graphic design uses visuals to grab our attention and draw us in for more. Multimedia dives into coding, gaming, filming, and things that shape the way that we see the world. In our audio technology unit, we will use the AKAI Mini pads to plug in to our computers to create melodies. The pads will open the number of instruments we have access to. The polaroid camera will be used in our multimedia unit to create photo series. I want my students to begin exploring so they know they have a world out there full of ideas that are waiting to be discovered. We will be making songs in class as well as working on photo series together.
