These iPads will allow ELL students to utilize applications, video, web, sound, and images in order to narrate their thoughts and ideas about who they are and the places they inhabit. They will support these students who are learning a new language to tell stories about the world they see, have seen, and/or wish to see around them. The gift of this technology, I believe, will aide and guide these students in utilizing their emerging voices within a language which is not native to them. The hope is that our English Language Learners, through their access to creativity and innovative story telling, will be guided in finding the words there have previously been no names for.

About my class
