While headphones with a mic seem like a simple product, they have had so many uses this past year for my students. We can access virtual field trips and guest speakers, talk to each other (and hear each other) when socially distancing. For my students who struggle with attention difficulties, headphones allow them to listen to calm music while working. For my struggling readers, headphones help books come to life and inspire these students to find joy in what they are reading. For my struggling writers and typers, the microphone feature will help them share their thoughts.
