Due to the pandemic and the ongoing push into virtual learning, having more laptops in our classroom means more opportunities for students to stay engaged with their classwork. These four laptops present an opportunity for students whose family may not be able to afford the technology tools often needed in school. With these devices, we would have a consistent set at students' fingertips to use during and after school hours. It is of the utmost importance that we provide students ith the opportunity to engage fully with everything we have planned for our classroom; paper handouts and physical texts only go so far. There is also something to be said about leveling the playing field in order to have all students working in parity with their peers. Our student population is quite diverse ethnically, but also in socio-economic status. By having classroom sets of laptops, we are able to ensure every student has a chance to get the full experience in our classroom.
