Many students in our district have enjoyed the freedom to choose their projects and the various mediums they can use. Whether it is painting, sculpting, glass work, or felting, students have been able to make their ideas tangible works of art. With an expected influx of students being enrolled in the art classes and the budget remaining the same, I would love to be able to provide all art students with the materials they need to be successful. It is hard to put into words the passion for art the students possess. These are award winning students in a small district that would love to continue down different avenues of artistic expression. Felting is one of the most recent mediums students have started to use that has excited many of the students. Not only will these 3-D models bring their thoughts to life, but it strengthens their fine motor skills.
