When I first started teaching I was overwhelmed by how much I needed for my classroom. Thankfully there were generous teachers willing to donate to my classroom! However, a lot of what I was given were things that other teachers didn't want anymore, hand me downs if you will. That included lots and lots of outdated books. I have had students, who are sometimes too honest for their own good, tell me that my library is "lame". I have to do something about that! It is time to revamp the Z Squad library! I want to fill my library with books that kids are excited to read. I made sure to include books with diverse characters, as well as books that will help inspire my students to be better humans. Please help to make my library less lame!
