Sparking an interest in Physics can be especially challenging. I love to incorporate hands-on activities particularly for topics with misconceptions. I believe that anytime I can incorporate an aspect of play (even at the high school level) students are more engaged and are more apt to take ownership of their learning. A breakout task is an activity that brings the escape room experience into the classroom. Tasks are rich in content to allow students to demonstrate their understanding and are group-worthy. Each student contributes to their group's success which fosters community and self-worth.

About my class
