The exercise equipment requested in this project will help my students to learn fun, new activities that they can use at home. Students will learn games, activities, skills, and exercises that they can share with their families and friends at home. When students enjoy an activity or game, they are more willing to share them with others. Most of the activities that will be taught will help students with their health and skills for lifelong learning. I have requested resistance bands, volleyballs, ring toss games, inflatable beach balls, badminton shuttlecocks, music scarves, and electronic whistles to help students stay active and safe in Physical Education class. Some students might not have the equipment at home, but they will understand its usefulness. When they are older they will know how to use the equipment properly and feel confident when doing their own personal workouts. Some of the equipment is for my adaptive students to help them catch and throw. When they use a soft beach volleyball they are more likely to enjoy hitting it and not too worried about getting hit with it. The electronic whistles will help me to not spread any germs when using them because it is a handheld whistle. This exercise equipment will help the diversity of all my students.
