These midi controllers will be used to enrich the students' elementary music curriculum. Applying lessons about rhythm, melody, harmony, and form to real world music production techniques. Students will build music theory skills and unlock creative ways to approach writing and performing music. Imagine accelerating students' understanding of the common modern music vernacular by fusing it with methods from the Orff Schulwerk curriculum. Putting a world of classic keyboards, drum machines, and sampled instruments at their fingertips to perform and create, explore new timbres, and build arrangement skills. These experiences will create lifelong memories and inspire students to continue down a musical path that supports their future academic endeavors.
