My 4th graders are a caring, creative, and inquisitive bunch. They come from a diverse population here in Maui with lots to share. In my class, I want to provide a safe and inclusive space for students to learn and grow. Several of my students require special accommodations to allow them to feel secure in the classroom and are able to access the materials along with their peers. With your help, I want to welcome my students back into the classroom with a safe, warm, and inviting space for them to grow and thrive. Some of these kids have not been in the classroom in almost two years and are going to need some help adjusting back to the class setting. With my diverse class, I want to also make sure that the environment is set up to accommodate their specific sensory, emotional, and physical needs. I would really like to support them and make learning and being at school enjoyable!
