We currently do not have enough shoulder rests for all the violists in my beginning class. If you could help meet this need, it would be greatly appreciated. A proper shoulder rest is important for students to be able to hold their instruments properly. A shoulder rest helps the students learn correct technique, allowing them to excel faster on their instrument. When a shoulder rest is utilized on an instrument, it allows for the instrument to be comfortably held at a position that promotes better results when played.
