My students develop a sense of teamwork, understand that they are all unique in their own ways. In my classroom, I want them to feel like their own superhero. They have a purpose, goal and can achieve anything. They have the power to do anything. These items will be used to challenge my students, create a sense of belonging, enrich our learning environment and reward them for all of their hard work. Creating a learning environment where they feel engaged and safe is important as they continue to take pride in themselves and strive for success. I want to create a superhero theme and celebrate them with such items as capes and masks. Some of the items listed will help my students feel safe as they return to school for the first time face to face, with the purifier and face shields so they can interact more with one another in smaller groups. Being distanced within the classrooms, the technology will help students hear the teachers and peers clearly with wearing masks and shields throughout the day. Additional equipment will help in organizing supplies for students to have access to as we need to make sure student items are labeled and sorted for individual usage. Additional classroom resources will be utilized to address my students needs in introducing them to STEM as well as Singapore Math.
