Health and safety are the primary concerns in our classroom. While we are thankful to have the ability to learn in-person, social distancing prevents us from gathering on the rug as eager second graders love to do! Social distancing among 7 year olds means finding creative ways to deliver instruction that is engaging, visible, and accessible to all kids. With kids spread out, traditional chart tablets, whiteboard lessons, and even sharing of a read aloud story are challenging for kids to see and hear. A flat screen tv and soundbar would allow students seated at their desks to view videos, create charts and documents with classmates, share student work, and connect with the curriculum.
