Students learn science through observation and exploration. After a year of distance learning, it is important for students to have opportunities to use scientific processes to build knowledge. My school has 3 third grade classes, each class will have their own physical science kit to allow for the grade level to share their learning with each other. This physical science kit will allow students to make hypotheses, make observations, collect data, and analyze their findings to bring newton's laws of motion to life. The student readers included in the kit will help my students to build their reading skills to be better informational readers. The vocabulary rich text will enable my students to connect the knowledge learned during the experiments with the texts.
