The materials will help to create a safe environment that is optimal for learning. We have new fans to help with ventilation for COVID-19 and keeping the students comfortable around the classroom. A Laminator will be used to make hard copies of students' work and posters around the classroom. The maps and posters will be used to create an engaging learning environment. It is so important for our students to know about their history (Hawaiian posters) so they know where they are going. This art will help them to gain exposure and learn more about these heroes from our history. The chairs will allow students to have alternative places to learn within the classroom. The storage bins will help with class organization and classroom vibe in general. I've asked for speakers so my class can learn from a variety of multi-media sources and the chrome cast will also assist us in that the students can project their work/projects to present to the class. We currently have a small older TV that is hard to hear from the back. So the speakers will be critical to allowing everyone to hear and learn from the multimedia. There are also PPE supplies that will allow us to continue in-person learning safely. The supplies are going quickly at school because of the constant sanitizing and cleaning that is needed to happen to help our students continue to learn in a safe environment.
