Students will be designing and building planters as a community service project. These planters will beautify an area that was previously used as an area littered with trash. The shop tools that will be purchased will be used to build and assemble planter boxes out of reclaimed material. The students will learn how to use the tools properly and safely and design other projects that can be used around school and at home. Students will gain real-world experiences and be able to apply gained knowledge at home, for future career interests, and in their daily living.

About my class
