Having books with a variety of different backgrounds it's such an important feature at this age. In fourth grade, students are beginning to pick up books that have more content and stronger meaning. It is my goal to make sure that every student can find something that they can feel related to within my classroom library. Students who are also not familiar with a culture outside themselves are now at an age where they are learning more about their classmates further than the surface level of "you look different than me" but we are learning more about the *why*.
