I would like for my students to be more aware of the world they live in. These magazines will improve their reading comprehension skills, vocabulary, and fluency, while they are learning more about the world around us. My students are not often exposed to authentic texts, so this would be a great opportunity for them to not only use these magazines at school, but also take them home and share their new knowledge. This would be an opportunity for them to become the experts in current event issues! My students will be so excited to know that someone cares about them enough to purchase things for our classroom. Would you be willing to help us learn to love reading about current events? I would be so grateful and so would my students! Thank you for your support!
