My students' levels of enjoying to read ranges as much as their various levels of fluency and comprehension. My goal is to create books clubs, or small groups, where students can explore new, exciting, and engaging books with their peers. My goal is to have each student discover the endless, wonderful world that is made from books. Students will get to work with a group with members that have similar reading levels, and choose from the options of novels for a book to read together. In this way, students can go through the exhilarating journey of experiencing a book together, and having support to ask questions as well as to "geek" out over exciting parts of the book! In this way, I hope students find a love of books, and are inspired to continue to be lifelong readers. The materials include the wide range of books of different reading levels with enough copies for a small group. Additionally, I will use the Teachers Pay Teachers gift card to purchase literature guides to increase comprehension and connection to the novels.
