If my project if fully funded I will be able to have book baskets for each child that are filled with a variety of books at their reading level. This will really help me meet the individual needs of each student in my classroom. These books will be used in school and students can also borrow them to read at home. The math manipulatives will also allow each child to have the supplies they need to be successful. The use of math manipulatives is essential to the success of the students in my room. Many of them need it to meet their special needs. It helps them to learn and be successful in the general ed setting. In the past we could share math manipulatives, but due to the pandemic this is not possible. This is why I need more math manipulatives in my room.
