This year we are focused on bouncing into normal classroom learning. Majority of my scholars were virtual last year and, as a result, missed out on a lot of critical learning time. These materials will not only be used to provide sanitation in my classroom but will also start my scholars off with basic materials so no one is left out! Statistically, most scholars are behind entering this year, especially in Math. This means we have a lot of ground to make up this year. I plan to get a jump start on this with the help of fraction strips and other manipulatives that will be used in our first lesson. This will allow scholars to have a hands-on material to assist their learning! Lastly, after spending almost a year and a half going to virtual school, many scholars are not used to the classroom environment. I plan to use pop its, stress balls, and other fidgets to help scholars focus and release any over active energy they have stored up. Thank you in advance for any donation you make to help my scholars this school year!
