I like to use the dry erase boards for total participation when decoding skill words, working through word problems, or any class response where I can see their thinking as a class and adjust my questioning or discussion as mastery is demonstrated. The notebooks and pencils will help my students express their thoughts and ideas during class discussions, when problem solving, and during writers workshop. Of course it is essential to use colorful crayons to add spice to our learning! But really we will use crayons to color code important information in word problems, directions, and text we are reading. The mailboxes will allow my students a one stop place for home school connection. Homework folders and important papers will be stored here until the final bell rings. My students will use these supplies on a daily basis across subjects areas in order to keep organized and demonstrate mastery toward their learning goals. Finally, Our class appreciates all the help you can provide to our class so we can have a year of academic growth without the worry finding basic supplies. Thank you!
