With these library books and classroom materials, my students will be able to expand their world and get closer to gaining their own independence. My students all need daily practice using their fine motor skills to be able to manipulate items on their own. I have lessons aligned to the books I requested that will enhance their language acquisition and comprehension. I am planning on using two books a month and aligning my entire curriculum from science to cooking around those specific books. I am working in Hawaii, in an empty brand new classroom and with this library and these supplies, our classroom could soar. I have such high hopes for my students who are constantly underestimated. I believe they are extremely capable if given the right tools and setting. By donating to this project, you will be providing my students with those tools and setting that environment. Thank you!
