The iPad in this project will make a difference in my students’ learning because they will be able to use another device to access learning tools, apps, and curriculum in the classroom. Having an iPad in the classroom can also help provide students with additional support with apps for read aloud stories, voice recording, or voice to text options. If we revert to online learning again, the device can also be used to help students learn from home. We will use the iPad to help film and edit class projects to create creative and authentic learning for our students. Being able to record and edit projects with an easy to operate tablet will help make learning more fun for students, demonstrate the real world applications of the content they study, and create a safe space for students to reflect on their learning. This device would also be used to help students conduct research and use online learning tools in the Google Suite.
