Comfortable seating will allow my students to focus all their energy on learning. My students currently have desks that wobble, shake, or tip over. They are broken in places and not completely functional. When the desks aren’t working properly of course my students are trying to find a solution which hinders their learning experiences. They also have chairs but these chairs have seats that come up and squeaky legs. They rock from side to side. They are a fun carnival ride, but they are a huge distraction from the learning environment. My students would benefit from classroom furniture knowing they are sitting in working chairs and desks.
