These items will help calm anxiety as well as increase attention and focus. Many of my students face adversity in their daily lives. For some it has been a year and a half since they have been on campus. I want my classroom to be more welcoming and to meet their individual needs. Otherwise my classrooms only has old rigid chairs. These enhancements will be well used. Students will be able to move around and obtain sensory input. This will allow them to get more learning done and to be more comfortable in the classroom.
