With an increase in my video production program, 4 camcorders will not be sufficient to teach 61 video production students. Lack of equipment has been a struggle since day 1 to give my students an opportunity to showcase their visual storytelling skills. Students struggle to possess any of our limited camcorders so they can build and design their projects. Some students settled to use their own personal cell phones or purchased their own equipment so they may complete projects. Others resolved to group work and abandoned their innovative ideas. Your donation will not only provide my students the equipment they need to succeed but provide them an opportunity to explore video production and express their ideas as an individual. With a new set of iPads, students will have the chance to develop their feature stories without worrying about how they will get it done. They will be able to focus on the content of their project instead of how they will equip their project. Help my students capture stories of our school and community.
