The supplies needed are to promote the love of writing in my students. I like to use a variety of writing tools to create activities students will enjoy. The sentence strips are great because I usually put them in groups, and they help each other write different types of sentences. For example, I can tell them I need a simple sentence, a compound sentence and a complex sentence. Go! In their groups they decide who writes what. They are also used to create silly compound sentences. I also added books I know they will love.
