A lack of centers, limited hands-on activities with manipulatives, and a lack of various social interactions sum up the effects of COVID on the past school year. These materials will help provide what last year wasn't able to. The Cultural and vocabulary-rich texts will enhance the classroom library in order to provide entertaining and well-rounded choices for instruction. Our previous Peapod was so loved that it eventually had to be retired due to too many patched holes. The Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards will be used to purchase materials used in small group instruction, classroom centers, and data collection. The remaining items will be used to organize centers, create visual schedules, and fine motor skills practice. Help my classroom to be an environment with various ways to express student knowledge, support sensory needs and social skills, and provide engaging materials.
