Coming back to school after Covid-19 learning can be a stressful transition for some students. These items will help make the transition as smooth as possible. We know recess and outdoor time is so valuable for students to help their brains be ready to learn. With Covid-19 precautions having more equipment will keep our kids safe from sharing germs with other classes.
Students have spent a lot of time on their computers and devices during distance learning. While technology is still a great asset, students will need a safe, designated place to store their computers while working with hands on materials again. Computer carts will help students keep their technology safe and out of the way and will reduce anxiety with organization.
Sensory tools like wobble cushions will help students adjust and stay focused in the classroom as it will be a big adjustment for most students. Students will also need a lot of support for intervention and getting back on track after over a year out of the classroom for most students. Teachers Pay Teachers resources will be used to support students at the level they come in at and move them toward grade level reading through targeted interventions.
