I am requesting instructor resources for our food science unit for middle school students. Many teachers, myself included, are searching for and piecing together resources to create our own curriculum. A dedicated textbook would serve to better guide curriculum development, planning, instructional practices, and learner outcomes. Learning to cook is a life skill that benefits individuals, families, and societies. In the last year and a half, this has really come into focus, and is foundational for health and wellness. Food Science inherently engages students, is cross-curricular with general science courses, and comes alive in cooking classes!
